Simple doubt......

I was skipping through the channels this morn,watching our desi movie stars dance away,sashaying in clothes worth thousands........ And I was wondering-Hey,what happens to all these dresses once they're done with the movie??

Sometimes, the clothes are borrowed on rent and at times purchased, if the producer or the production house is rich enough!

i think that, girl being girls, the dresses are burnt! cause it's a sin to repeat clothes, more so if you're an actress! :P

say they are borrowed on rent-then,these clothes cannot be used in another movie.They would have to face a lawsuit then! :P

well.. i guess you can wear the guys clothes around "on the road" but probably not the kind of girls clothes you're talking about :P but still.. you caught me :P

They can very well rent the same set of clothes for another movie. With so many movies being made, hardly anyone notices. Such used clothes can be sold too. There are many takers! In serials, actors are sometimes asked to bring in their own set of clothes depending on the character they are playing.

what if the costumes are from a movie set way back in history???

the same set of clothes being reused for another movie-this can be pulled off for the side actors.But wat abt the lead actors? Surely,u cant pass it off without people noticing.....

The heroine's clothes r tiny enuf to be used for anything other than cleaning tables. Some of the hero's clothes are donated to the local Circus
