The Hangover.
I'm back from the best vacation of my life ( so far ). The Himalayas, are larger than life. Its an entirely different experience to see a mountain in real, than admiring them in pictures. Seeing a mountain in real, is like having a tiger in front of you. Its huge, majestic and you'd be awed. This was my first time in a plane as well-the whole thing is a big bore except for the take off and landing. There's always the excitement of seeing clouds float away like cotton candies. I have lived on tea, tomato soup, rotis, dal and last but not the least-aloos, through the trek. We have all learnt to detest aloos for the next month. Until then, its one of my swear words.
I have learnt to appreciate the basic things in life-a bed-no matter how small, a colorfully cooked meal, clean drinking water, electricity, a clean toilet. But there are a few things which i'm ready to swap any day-an open sky instead of a 10x10 cubicle, clean fresh mountain air instead of pollution, walking instead of riding. And yet there were other things which have become invaluable after the trip-maggi, tea, tomato soup and Jumpin!!!
So totalling it up-6 days, 65 kms, 15000+ ft, 22 people, waking up = anywhere bn 3.30 a.m and 6.30 a.m, singing, playing cards, other silly nameless games, snowman, mules, sleeping bags, layers of clothing, washing dishes in the freezing water, de-freezing your hands, misplaced gloves, walking sticks!, torch, arrows, hailstones, snow, mountains, a boring 10km walk to wrap up things, and a bumpy ride on top of the Sumo to follow that, an unfinished story-and the evening imagining the rest of it, the rest of the story, debut flight, The Godfather :) :) , " I Concurr!!! ", Delh-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Did i leave anything out???
P. S : Too labourious to upload pics here. Lemme know if u wanna see em.

btw Hitler , you've left out Dr Hitler :D .....
You were off for 6 days? Super! I am sure the effect will take more than a month to wear off! Love the way you have summarized the whole thing in such a short and sweet post!
Yes, how could i forget Serial Killer! Thanks for reminding.
@ QG
Not YHA, but another budding org called INDIAHIKES. The trek was for 6 days, i was away for 10. True, it'll take a long time for the effect to wear off....
Btw, i tried my best to be concise. If i had to detail up the whole trek, i could fill a book.
Proud :)
try once...
