To Sir,not with love...........

I am one of those thousands of students who spent 3 yrs of their life in Marimallappa's High School. Most of the time, our only worry was to squeeze in along with 5 other people(bags included) on one single bench-a mammoth task in itself, considering the constantly fluctuating weight of our fellow bench-mates.As a result, students who passed out of this prestigious institution were masters in space-management.Besides that, the one other characteristic feature that, according to me,sets most Maris apart is the lack of the student-teacher relationship.Personal attention in this school is like expecting your local MP to know about every person who voted for him.And hence,as every batch passes through, memories of teachers are erased out to accommodate for the novice new comers.
Just the other day,i happened to pass one of our high school teacher at the bakery.Obviously,he had no clue i'd been subjected to his tortures once upon a time.So while he was tending to his son's taste buds,i kept smiling to myself-fighting the urge to laugh out loudly about this whole situation. This fella, had huge eyes (more egg like.......) and we'd aptly nicknamed him "Buduk" in reference to the sound,if his eyes ever popped out. While i was walking away,he happened to turn around and giving me a questioning glance.I wonder if their nicknames were the greatest achievements of their lives......
